Stuck in Stress? | 15 Minute Stress Relief

 

🧚Wouldn’t it be nice to have a little fairy come and help you make all your hard decisions?

☠️This way you could avoid analysis-paralysis!

If you’re not familiar with the term, it’s the idea that you overanalyze every single thing about the decision-making process often making this a really difficult and overwhelming task.

🔎During this age of much information, it can be really difficult to find the “best” answer and to know if it’s really right for you.

Then you have all the “What Ifs” or if you’re in the audit world, what we’d called the “WCGW” (What could go wrongs) to account for as well.

😵It’s truly an overwhelming process.

Don’t get me wrong: there’s nothing wrong with being prepared and cautious, but what I’ve noticed when I do this is:

(1) You have a short temper & then find yourself apologizing later

(2) You stay stuck & don’t move forward

(3) Physically unfit. For instance, the other day I experienced this when I made big financial decisions.

💎Every time I experience this, I learn a little more about myself and how I can ease my decision-making fatigue.

There are 3 things I start to prioritize when I recognize signs of  me being overwhelmed which are:

(1) acknowledging/validating my feelings

(2) focusing on breathing

(3) mindful stretching
