Have you ever heard someone say to stop overthinking or to reduce stress or anxiety, try meditation!
And your response is…”I can’t meditate, I can’t get my mind to shut up.”
🙋♀️I know I am guilty of this.
👉But did you know in mindfulness meditation, there is NO RULE that says this shouldn’t happen.
👉Actually, meditation is simply the practice of returning back to the present moment.
👉Which means… when your mind wanders during meditation that’s TOTALLY FINE.
Actually, it’s really great. It means your brain is working! 🙂
✨The trick is then when you notice your mind wandering, see if you can bring it back to something in the present moment.
Perhaps that’s your breath or the physical sounds of your environment. It may seem difficult at first but with time and practice, it becomes easier and easier.
💖I promise.
👉Give THIS meditation a try as it’s designed specifically for the overthinkers, like myself, in life. ✨
