Resilience Meditation

 

🌱Do you know how old the oldest tree in existence is?

🌳 Have you ever considered the lives of trees?

I recently read about an experiment in the desert called “Biosphere 2”.🏜️ Scientists created a controlled environment steel and glass enclosure with purified air and water, great soil, and lots of natural light. The intention was to create the perfect growing environment for flora and fauna.

Seems great right?

Well, not quite. For instance, trees grow to a specific height before falling over. This perplexed the researchers.😕 No one knew why.

Can you guess?

🔍 Well, turns out they lacked one super critical component. 💨 It was wind!

Tree bark and roots aren’t robust enough, it hasn’t been exposed to any wind or other difficulties.

Let’s imagine ourselves as trees outside of a perfect biodome for this meditation practice. Give us the wind!

💪Let us use our difficulties to strengthen ourselves so that we can be resilient and recover from everything.

P.S. The oldest tree known to still exist is 5000 years old! 🤯
